About the job

Shape the future of ARaymond as part of our global Product Development Community. You’ll join a team at the beating heart of our company’s daily operations. As a (Senior) Software Architect at Raynet, you will play a pivotal role in co-leading the software development of our internal system supporting the ARaymond product development activities which is used by thousands of users worldwide. You will collaborate closely with software developers and business consultants to design, manage and document the evolution of our n-tier application.

 

Roles and responsibilities

  • Architectural Design: Translate functional requirements into high-level product specifications, ensuring system integration and feasibility.
  • Implementation Management: Design, document, and oversee the implementation of both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Technology Exploration: Investigate new technologies and integrate them into our programming principles.
  • Development Principles: Define development aspects from technology and workflow to coding standards, guiding the development team.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide coaching and technical support to developers, ensuring adherence to quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility standards.
  • Interface Management: Develop, document, and maintain interfaces with other applications.
  • Problem Solving: Debug issues using a variety of analytical skills and techniques.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct and support validation activities to ensure software quality.
  • User Support: Provide 2nd level support for end users.
  • Continuous Learning: Enhance technical knowledge and stay updated with industry trends.
  • Travel: Some travel may be required.

 

Education and experience

As background you have a Computer Engineering diploma (BAC+5 years, equivalent to European master’s degree) and you benefit from significant experience in a similar position (3 years+) 

 

Skills

  • Proficiency in Visual Studio.Net 2022, Azure DevOps, and object-oriented programming
  • Expertise in C#, .Net, WPF, REST-API, ADO.NET, XAML, containerization, and VUEJS
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
  • Strong knowledge of architectural patterns like n-tier, distributed application, MVVM, and microservices
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL-Server and SQL
  • Understanding of software quality assurance principles and agile software development practices (SCRUM)
  • Self-driven, well organized and detail-oriented mindset with curiosity and eagerness to explore new technologies
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills and team spirit in an international environment
  • Fluent English required (French or German would be a plus)
